Kaufhaus Des Westens
// Fashion Video Campaign
In an ambitious collaboration, No Ceilings and renowned photographer Ben Lamberty produced a series of fashion campaign videos for Kaufhaus Des Westens (KaDeWe), Germany’s premier fashion department store. Designed for multiple platforms such as digital and in-store displays and city-wide outdoor billboards, these videos showcased the latest in Men’s and Children’s wear, merging classic elegance with modern visual storytelling.
OBJECTIVE
Our objective was to create a distinctive visual campaign that stood out across diverse advertising platforms—from the intimate ambiance of in-store displays to the bustling visuals of city billboards. The campaign aimed to captivate viewers with or without sound, ensuring KaDeWe's fashion offerings were seen and remembered across Berlin.
CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS
Versatile Visual Content: Crafting content that maintains its impact in quiet store settings and on noisy, busy city billboards. We focused on strong visual storytelling with dynamic, engaging edits that ensured effectiveness in silence and bustling environments, highlighting KaDeWe’s offerings' fashion-forwardness.
Consistent Brand Messaging Across Platforms: Ensuring the campaign communicated a cohesive brand message across various mediums. We synchronized the visual narrative between digital displays and physical billboards, maintaining a unified theme that resonated with KaDeWe’s sophisticated brand identity.
RESULTS
The campaign successfully redefined fashion advertising for KaDeWe, significantly enhancing brand engagement and visibility. Notably, the campaign resulted in a 30% increase in foot traffic to the Men’s and Children’s sections during its run, and a substantial boost in online engagement metrics, reflecting a stronger consumer connection with the brand.
