In a joint effort with SJM Concerts and Live Nation, Leona Lewis launched her debut Christmas tour, "Christmas with Love," promoting her globally acclaimed sixth studio album. The tour featured sold-out performances in 12 prestigious venues across the UK during November and December.
OBJECTIVE
The goal was to distinguish this tour from previous ones by offering a festive and intimate celebration of her Christmas album, creating a personal connection with fans across the UK.
CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS
Musical Arrangement: We spotlighted live jazz renditions of Christmas classics and Leona’s popular tracks, backed by a 9-piece band, including a 3-piece brass section and backup vocalists, enveloping audiences in a holiday spirit.
Personal Touch: The tour featured a 4-part set with musical segues that shared insights into Leona’s personal Christmas memories and the joy of her new baby, Carmel. This narrative approach deepened fan engagement through immersive interactions.
Classic Yet Innovative Stage Design:Inspired by the Rat-Pack era, our all-white, multi-tiered stage design with Venetian curtains and gold finishes, a baby grand piano, and vintage decorations provided a classic yet innovative backdrop.
Lighting & Special Effects: We employed vintage-style lighting and modern special effects, including low-lying fog and a snow cannon finale, to create a nostalgic yet dynamic atmosphere, perfecting charm and theatricality.
Logistical Adaptation: To accommodate varying venue sizes, we devised flexible rigging solutions to maintain the tour's grandeur in theaters and arenas.
RESULT
The "Christmas with Love" tour was a resounding success, described as "truly magical and stellar" by The Star. It sold out across all venues, earning acclaim as Leona Lewis's best performance and attracting global attention.
